Fine Tuning "clear" resin systems
If you are not fully satisfied with the resolution of your print it is necessary to fine tune our 3Dresyns to your printer settings. When the print exhibits poor resolution is usually due to excessive light penetration (Z axis) and/or scattering (XY axis), causing light bleeding or overgrowth in the XY or Z axis beyond specifications.
It is recommended the use of Print Quality Fine Tuner LB1 in steps of 1% to reduce gradually the light penetration and scattering to avoid cure beyond specifications (overgrowth) and obtain optimum resolution for your specific printer settings.
The use of Print Quality Fine Tuner LB1 is essential for increasing the print resolution when printing "clear" resin systems with SLA DLP & LCD 3D printers, specially with DLP & LCD printers because of the common longer exposure times resulting in increased light penetration causing light bleeding, shown as over growth (poor resolution and printing beyond specifications) and/or support fusing or merging.
Print Quality Fine Tuner LB1 is supplied as a kit, which contains 1 dispenser (dropper) with 50 mL of LB1, 1 measuring flask to measure exactly the minimum volume of 3Dresyns needed for fine tuning (dependant on minimum required printing volumen of individual resin tanks) and 1 empty 250 mL black bottle to mix, keep and protect fine tuned 3Dresins from day light. Please do not expose 3Dresyns to direct natural or artificial room light to prevent curing.
Note: Print Quality Fine Tuner LB1 "Light Blocker" is recommended for printers having UV/Visible light wavelegths up to 410 nm (350-410 nm range), including 405 nm blue LEDs, lasers and standard DLP projectors and LCDs. Our 50 mL dispenser of LB1 is normally used at 1-3 % dosage. Fine tuner LB1 tends to crystallise naturally, consequently it is recommended to warm the glass dispenser gently in a microwave oven and shake it until cristals redissolve completely.
