3Dresyns sells online around 500 basic SKUs (Stock Keeping Units) for identifying the color, packaging size, functionality, etc of its product portfolio. Most 3D resins permit online multifunctionalization with over several thousand colors and up to 4 functional additives, among around 50 functional additive choices, which can be added online for custom design of over 10 billion ready to use 3D resins.

Versions

For each product reference, several versions may be available and new versions are continuously developed for improving each product performance, quality and safety.

Chemicals, the ingredients or raw materials of 3D resins, are continuously analysed and reclasiffied from their safety properties. New scientific findings of their risks and hazards to humans and the environment end up in updating their classification in different international regulations, such as REACH (EC 1907/2006). Regulations call for the progressive substitution of the most dangerous chemicals (referred to as "substances of very high concern") when suitable alternatives have been identified.  They aim to improve the protection of human health and the environment through the better and earlier identification of the intrinsic risks and hazards of chemical substances to enhance the safety of chemicals.

Management of the risks from chemicals includes gathering information on the safety properties of chemical substances, which allow their safe handling, and their registration and reclassification, when new scientific evidence of increased risks and hazards has been discovered, in centralised databases, such as the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA). This EU agency manages the in-depth evaluation and reclassification of suspicious chemicals and is building up a public database in which consumers and professionals can find risks and hazards information.

There is a large number of substances which have been manufactured and placed on the market for many years with insufficient information on the risks and hazards that they pose to human health and the environment. There is a need to revise and update the risk and hazard classification of chemicals to implement the risk and hazard management measures to protect humans and the environment. Reclassification of chemicals is a continuous ongoing international task.

Often, new risk and hazard evaluations and findings evidence that previously classified "safe" chemicals, cause risks and hazards to humans and to the environment. It is mandatory to replace these reclassified "non-safe" chemicals  with safer alternatives. Unfortunately, existing medical certifications are not covered by these updates since updates of chemical classification regulations are not linked to medical certifications, compromising the safety to humans and to the environment.

3Dresyns is continuously revising the risks and hazards of their raw materials and making new improved versions of their products with the safest ingredients to minimise the risk and hazards for humans and the environment. Reclassification of chemicals with increased toxicity is taken into account as a top priority in our reasearch, which ends up in developing updated safer versions of our products to preserve their safety and minimise the risks and hazards to humans and to the environment.

Ordering of 3Dresyns versions

For ordering a product with the same composition and specifications as a previously ordered one, write a note in the Purchasing Order PO for offline payments, or when ordering online indicate before on each product before checkout: "same version, tuning and specifications as lot number x".

If the requested version is still available it will be sent when requested, unless the requested version is permanently discontinued, or replaced by a new one with improved mechanical or safety performance, by discretionary decision of the 3Dresyns, which is entitled to modify the compositions of their products without any previous notice, unless an existing supply contract is previously signed.

The Company will send the version and tuning of ordered products, which considers the most reliable, from the overall quality and safety performance, to fulfil the buyer´s printer/printing specifications.

SKUs

SKU stands for “Stock Keeping Unit” and as the name suggests, it is a number that it is assigned to identify and keep track of a distinct type of item for sale, such as a product or service, and all attributes or functionalities associated with the item type that distinguish it from other item types. For a product, these attributes can include material reference, weight, color, functionality, packaging, printer type, etc.

3Dresyns SKUs follow this basic descriptor scheme:

Final SKU: Basic SKU (P+ product number) followed by the Lot number, which includes all the multivariable information of the chosen product with all its design variants and subSKUs, such as:

  • V stands for the Version of the product
  • F stands for Fast version for fast printing speed but lower biocompatibility
  • I stands for Intermediate version for intermediate printing speed and overall properties
  • S stands for Slow version for slow printing speed, improved resolution, ligh fastness and biocompatibility
  • HV stands for High Viscosity for higher mechanical properties and biocompatibility but higher vat adhesion specially <25ºC
  • LV stands for Low Viscosity for lower vat adhesion but lower mechanical properties and biocompatibility
  • LCD stands for version for LCD printers
  • MLCD stands for version for Monochrome LCD printers
  • DLP stands for version for DLP printers
  • Laser SLA stands for version for Laser SLA printers
  • IJ stands for version for Inkjet printers
  • Color subSKU´s for the chosen colors
  • Functionality subSKUs for the up to 4 chosen functionalities
  • etc
