3Dresyns for making ceramic molds

SLA/DLP 3D resins for making high detail and intricate ceramic molds as direct alternative to traditional and time consuming plaster molds (multi step process):

  • Ceramic 3Dresyns CM are resins designed to make directly ceramic molds CM after dispersing at high content micron and submicron ceramic materials such as gypsum and/or other refractory materials such as fused silica, zirconia, alumina, etc. After 3D printing the molds are debinded and sintered up to 1000 ºC following the specific ceramic mold drying cycles recommended by the ceramic supplier.
    • Ceramic 3Dresyns CM-HCCS are high ceramic content resin slurries HCCS of micron and submicron ceramics for making directly ceramic molds. These products have high content of micron and submicron ceramic materials such as gypsum and/or other refractory materials such as fused silica, zirconia, alumina, etc. After 3D printing the molds are debinded and sintered gradually by steps up to 1000 ºC following the specific ceramic mold drying cycles recommended by the ceramic supplier. This product line is available upon request.

    Ceramic 3Dresyns CM are also ideal for making high detail and intricate ceramic "micro" molds, alternative to water based gypsum plasters, in one step for direct metal casting, without the need of making metal or plastic master models and subsequently wax pattern models.

    This new process replaces the traditional time consuming process of making ceramic plaster molds by traditional investment casting, including the making of plastic or metal master models, making of silicone/rubber molds, making of wax pattern models, making of traditional water based plaster molds and final wax burn out.
