3Dresyn IM-HT-WS, hard and tough and water soluble for sacrificial low & medium temperature injection molding

Regular price 300.00 €

3Dresyn IM-HT-WS  has these features and benefits:

  • recommended for printing Water Soluble WS sacrificial Injection Molds IM for low and medium injection temperature materials, plastics, silicones, waxes, etc...
  • hard and tough HT, Shore Hardness D80
  • fast solubility in water
  • tack free finishes after light box postcuring
  • very high tensile strength >40 MPa
  • high rigidity (Young modulus >2000 MPa) to permit printing of thin rigid mold walls to maximise solubility speed and minimum resin consumption
  • non brittle at injection temperatures
  • elongation <8%
  • very low viscosity, below 100 cps
  • very high resolution (printing resolution of 20 microns)
  • very low shrinkage
  • printable by most commercial and professional SLA, DLP & LCD 3D printers
  • improved water solubility is achieved with low light power printers, such as standard LCD printers
  • fast printability with even low power LCD printers
  • increased durability of the resin tank
  • metal and organo-tin free

Note: water soluble 3D prints can be cleaned and postcured in few steps:

  • step 1 optional but recommended: remove any uncured resin from the print surface with high pressure air with at least 10 bars (the higher the better)
  • step 2 remove any uncured resin from the print surface with our Cleaning Fluid WS2
  • step 3 Light postcuring in a light box by dipping the cleaned prints in fresh Cleaning Fluid WS2
    • 5-10 minutes is enough to get a dry surface
    • 20 min will increase the rigidity of prints (recommended)
    • 60 minutes will increase the rigidity of prints to its maximum but certain brittleness will appear due to excessive light postcuring

    * Our 3Dresyns have been designed to print in a broad range of printer settings. Nevertheless, our Print Quality Fine Tuners are recommended to fine tune our 3Dresyns to your specific printer settings. For more info click here.
