Fine Tuner FT-VAM1 Bio is a 100% biocompatible photoaccelerant system especially designed and recommended for adjusting the cure speed of our 3Dresyns for Volumetric Additive Manufacturing VAM 3D printers working with multiwavelength systems including dual wavelength vam systems based on Ultraviolet and Visible lights. It is compatible with UV/Visible wavelengths (375-405 nm) and visible light projectors used in VAM systems, such as the xolographic volumetric 3D printing from Xolo's Xube system.
Fine Tuner FT-VAM1 Bio selectively reacts in the lights crossing but has no reactivity beyond and outside the intersection. It is ideal for adjusting the print speed and resolution of our biocompatible VAM 3D resins with dual wavelength "Ultraviolet and Visible" VAM printers
Additionally, it is 100% safe and biocompatible and does not contain any toxic raw materials. Fine Tuner FT-VAM1 Bio is based on safe and enviromentally friendly raw materials and consequently the final product does not have any potential residual toxic impurities. As a final result of our safe synthesis, Fine Tuner FT-VAM1 Bio does not have any toxic risk phrases nor pictograms, making it ideal for fully safe biomedical applications.
Fine Tuner FT-VAM1 Bio is added to our VAM 3Dresyns at different weight % to balance print speed and resolution to wish.
3 versions with different HLB values are available:
- Lipo-Phillic LP version with HLB: < 7.5 (ultra low water absorption ULWA grade for hydrophobic systems)
- Medium Hydro-Phobicity MHP version with HLB: 7.5-12 for medium HLB systems
- High Hydro-Phillicity HHP version with HLB: >12 for hydrophillic systems
Fine Tuner FT-VAM1 Bio is supplied as a kit containing 60 ml of the active photo accelerant vam additive, one measuring flask to measure exactly the minimum volume of 3Dresyns needed for fine tuning and one empty 250 mL black bottle to mix, keep and protect fine tuned 3Dresyns from day light. Please do not expose 3Dresyns to direct natural daylight or artificial room light to prevent curing.
Fine Tuner FT-VAM1 Bio photobleaches and becomes clear and transparent after light postcuring. It will be ready for sale quite soon!

*Note: the main difference between the versions is the Hydrophilic-Lipophilic Balance (HLB). Please remember to indicate your chosen version in your order, by defect the std grade is the MHP grade!. HLB value of 0 corresponds to a completely hydrophobic molecule and a value of 20 would correspond to a molecule made up completely of hydrophilic components.
