    Two-Photon Polymerization (2PP) 3Dresyns® for Nano- and Micro-Fabrication

Our Two-Photon Polymerization 3Dresyns® 2PP (also referred to as TPP) are designed for ultrafast nano- and micro-fabrication of 3D nano- and microstructures via 3D laser lithography printing.

    High-speed, sub-wavelength direct writing

3Dresyns® 2PP resins are engineered for direct writing of nano- and microstructures with sub-diffraction (sub-wavelength) resolution, at extremely high writing speeds above 110 mm/s.

Our 3Dresyns® 2PP have been developed to achieve feature sizes smaller than the laser wavelength, down to 100 nm. These materials can be written using low to high intensity femtosecond (fs) laser power ranges (10–250 mW) in the near infrared (near-IR).

3Dresyns® 2PP are non-toxic, dye-free systems based on a broad range of synthetic and bio-based monomers, oligomers, and resin materials.

    Applications

3Dresyns® 2PP can be processed on 3D lithography printers at very high resolutions (down to 100 nm) for advanced applications such as:

    • Micro-optics
    • Photonics
    • Electronics
    • Biomedicine and biomimetics (cell scaffolds for tissue engineering)
    • Microfluidic devices
    • Micro (opto) electromechanical systems (MEMS, MOEMS)
    • Metamaterials
    • Integrated wafer-level optics
    • Rapid prototyping and additive manufacturing
    • Maskless lithography

    Materials breadth and performance tailoring

3Dresyns® 2PP do not exhibit typical limitations often associated with commercial dye-containing 2PP systems, including high price, toxicity, and solubility constraints.

3Dresyns® 2PP can be used to micro-fabricate 2D and 3D patterns with sub-micron resolution (down to 100 nm) across a wide range of physical, chemical, and mechanical properties, including durable and non-durable (biodegradable) synthetic and/or bio-based, biocompatible 3D lithographic systems, such as:

    • Ultra-resistant structures; hard and tough materials
    • Flexible, soft, and elastic materials
    • Chemically resistant or non-chemically resistant materials
    • Hydrophilic or hydrophobic materials
    • Superior adhesion on specific substrates
    • Controlled yield-value viscosity to limit spreading
    • Compatibility and excellent dispersibility of nanomaterials
    • Ultra-fast scanning speed above 110 mm/s using fs laser power ranges of 10–250 mW in the near-IR

3Dresyns® 2PP are relatively economical compared to existing dye-containing alternatives and enable cost-effective fabrication of extremely detailed, intricate 2D and 3D nano- and microstructures with sub-diffraction lateral spatial resolution down to 100 nm.

    Photonic materials and advanced optics

3Dresyns® 2PP support cost-effective nano- and micro-fabrication of photonic materials such as 3D metamaterials, plasmonics, and other specialty optical systems.

    Custom development

Additional Two-Photon Polymerization 3Dresyns® 2PP formulations can be custom-designed to meet specific customer technical requirements.
