3D-ADD UVP1, clear UV protection additive
Product description
3D-ADD UVP1 is a Clear UV Protection additive for protecting 3Dresyns against degradation caused by long term UV light exposure.
It prevents and decreases yellowing and exhibits a bluish effect. It protects prints from UVA (320 to 400 nm), UVB (280 to 320 nm) and UVC (200 to 280 nm).
Application framework
Designed for use in 3Dresyns systems to protect printed materials against degradation caused by long term UV light exposure.
Typical applications
- Protecting 3Dresyns against degradation caused by long term UV light exposure
Measured mechanical properties
Measured physical properties
- Recommended dosage: 3-5% or higher up to 10%
- Clear additive
- Bluish effect
Functional performance characteristics
- Prevents and decreases yellowing
- Protects prints from UVA (320 to 400 nm), UVB (280 to 320 nm) and UVC (200 to 280 nm)
Processing and handling performance
- Excessive dosage will slow down print speed
- Add it carefully in successive steps of 1-2%, keeping in mind that overdosing can slow down printing speed and depth of cure
- It is supplied as a kit, which contains the product, one graduated beaker and one empty 250 mL black bottle to measure, mix, keep and protect the 3D resins from daylight
- Please do not expose any 3D resins to natural or room light to prevent their curing.
Chemical and safety characteristics
- 100% safe biocompatible UV light protective additive
- Material Safety Data Sheet "MSDS" free of hazards and pictograms
Testing & processing disclaimer
Excessive dosage will slow down print speed, consequently add it carefully in successive steps of 1-2%, keeping in mind that overdosing can slow down printing speed and depth of cure.
