Silicone like 3Dresyn Hard SR with Shore A70
Product description
3Dresyn® Hard SR is a silicone-like photopolymer developed to replicate the touch, elasticity and resilience of conventional hard silicone rubber while enabling high-resolution additive manufacturing.
Application framework
Designed for use in vat photopolymerization systems (SLA, DLP and LCD) within controlled professional environments. Suitable for applications requiring soft-elastic materials with higher hardness and durability compared to standard flexible resins.
Typical applications
- Silicone-like functional parts
- Soft-touch components
- Flexible seals and interfaces
- Prototyping of elastomeric products
- Applications requiring controlled hardness and elasticity
Measured mechanical properties
- Shore hardness: A70 (ISO 868)
- Tensile strength: <3 MPa (typical) (ISO 527)
- Young’s modulus: <7 MPa (typical) (ISO 527)
- Elongation at yield: >60% (typical) (ISO 527)
- Low viscosity (Brookfield)
- Very low shrinkage (internal method)
Functional performance characteristics
- Silicone-like touch and resilience comparable to conventional hard silicone rubber
- Higher hardness version relative to 3Dresyn® Soft SR
- Blendable with 3Dresyn® Soft SR to achieve customized Shore hardness values
- Durable soft-elastic mechanical response
- Very high resolution (feature definition below 20 µm depending on printer settings)
- Very low shrinkage
- Synthetic resin system
Processing and handling performance
- Compatible with most commercial and professional SLA, DLP and LCD 3D printers
Processing note
Note: This resin exhibits lower temperature resistance than conventional RTV silicones. For applications requiring high-temperature-resistant silicone materials, it is recommended to 3D print durable or sacrificial molds for subsequent casting or injection of conventional RTV silicones.
Testing & processing disclaimer
Material performance depends on printer type, exposure conditions, geometry and full workflow implementation. Mechanical and functional performance must be validated by the user for each specific application.
Why choose 3Dresyn® Hard SR
- Silicone-like behavior with higher hardness
- Customizable properties through blending with Soft SR
- High resolution and dimensional stability
- Suitable for soft-elastic functional applications
- Compatible with SLA, DLP and LCD technologies
Regulatory & legal notice
This material is supplied as a professional manufacturing material and is not marketed as a finished product. Final performance and process validation remain the responsibility of the user depending on printer, geometry and workflow conditions.
This technical datasheet should be used together with the relevant processing, calibration, safety and workflow documentation available in the 3Dresyns® Resources section.
