Printing technical 3D resins requires technical printers and trained technicians, since not all printers meet the minimum specifications needed to print certain technical products.
Why printer performance matters
Too-low-power printers can provide limited biocompatibility because polymer conversion is reduced when insufficient light power is delivered during printing. Similarly, opaque 3D resins (for example graphene-based systems) are affected by low-power printers because light penetration is reduced by the high opacity of such resin systems.
Training and workflow discipline
Although our Instructions for Use do not require understanding complex concepts and equations, printer users must be trained and sufficiently skilled to prevent and resolve basic and sometimes complex printing scenarios.
Why final properties cannot be guaranteed
3Dresyns cannot guarantee the properties and printability of its products, since biocompatibility and the physical, mechanical, or other properties (including printability) are beyond 3Dresyns’ control.
