Product description
3D-ADD HDC1 High Density Concentrate is a high density biocompatible paste designed for increasing the density of 3D resins.
This additive permits making materials with specific densities by mixing 3D-ADD HDC1, with calculated density c. 5 g/mL, with 3D resins, most of them with densities c. 1 g/mL, without affecting significantly their original mechanical properties.
Application framework
Designed for use as a density-adjusting additive in SLA, DLP and LCD vat photopolymerization workflows for custom density refinement of compatible 3D resins.

Measured physical properties
- Calculated density: c. 5 g/mL
- A lower density may appear due to air entrapment
- Resolution: up to 20 micron
- Shrinkage: very low

Processing and handling performance
- Printable by most commercial and professional SLA, DLP & LCD 3D printers once mixed with compatible 3D resins
- Available in 3 versions:
- LipoPhilic LP version with HLB: < 7.5 (Ultra Low Water Absorption ULWA grades)
- Medium Hydrophilicity MHP version with HLB: 7.5-12
- High HydroPhilicity HHP version with HLB: >12
- Supplied as a kit, which contains the product, one graduated beaker and one empty 250 mL black bottle to measure, mix, keep and protect the 3D resins from daylight
- Please do not expose any 3D resins to natural or room light to prevent their curing
- Calculation of desired density: % 3D resin x (1/100) + % 3D-ADD HDC1 x (5/100)
