3D-ADD MATT1 is a Matting Additive for decreasing the gloss of 3D printed resins.

It is a safe biocompatible whitish 3D matting paste which does not significantly affect the color strength nor the transparency of 3D printed resins. It can be added to 3D resins to reduce gloss.

Application framework

Designed for use with 3D resin systems to decrease gloss and increase matting in 3D printed materials.

• Decreasing the gloss of 3D printed resins
• Reducing gloss in 3D resin systems
• Optimum scanning detail and resolution

Measured physical properties

• Recommended dosage: 3-10% above total 3D resins solids
• Additions of up to 10% by weight are recommended to provide significant matting
• Whitish 3D matting paste
• Stable free flowing whitish paste / slurry

Functional performance characteristics

• Excellent matting yield
• Ideal for optimum scanning detail and resolution
• Water soluble and hydrophobic versions are available
• Minor whitening effect
• Does not significantly affect the color strength nor the transparency of 3D printed resins

Processing and handling performance

• Easy to add and mix in any 3Dresyn
• It is supplied as a kit, which contains the product, one graduated beaker and one empty 250 mL black bottle to measure, mix, keep and protect the 3D resins from daylight
• Please do not expose any 3D resins to natural or room light to prevent their curing.
