3D-ADD STAB1, in can stabilizer additive of 3D resins
Product description
3D-ADD STAB1 is a clear in-can stabilizer or polymerization inhibitor additive for increasing the long term stability in liquid form, or the shelf life, of liquid resins.
It improves the storage stability from months up to several years, acting as an efficient scavenger without reducing the cure speed significantly of potential initiating reactive groups which can prematurely initiate homopolymerization and decrease the storage stability of photopolymer 3D resins.
Application framework
Designed for use with photopolymer 3D resin systems to increase long term storage stability, shelf life and polymerisation inhibition in liquid form.
Typical applications
- Increasing the long term stability in liquid form of photopolymer 3D resins
- Increasing the shelf life of liquid resins
Measured physical properties
- Recommended typical dosage: c. 0.5-1% above resin solids
- Additions of up to 2-3% by weight are recommended for preserving the long term shelf life, in liquid form, of any photopolymer 3D resin kept at high temperature environments
- Clear to preserve the clarity and non yellowing of clear 3D resin systems
Functional performance characteristics
- Increased shelf life, storage stability and polymerisation inhibition up to several years
- Acts as an efficient scavenger without reducing the cure speed significantly
- Improves the storage stability from months up to several years
Processing and handling performance
- Recommended typical dosage of 3D-ADD STAB1 is c. 0.5-1% above resin solids
- Additions of up to 2-3% by weight are recommended for preserving the long term shelf life, in liquid form, of any photopolymer 3D resin kept at high temperature environments
- It is supplied as a kit, which contains the product, one graduated beaker and one empty 250 mL black bottle to measure, mix, keep and protect the 3D resins from daylight
- Please do not expose any 3D resins to natural or room light to prevent their curing.
Chemical and safety characteristics
- Clear in-can stabilizer or polymerization inhibitor additive
Testing & processing disclaimer
Please do not expose any 3D resins to natural or room light to prevent their curing.
