3Dresyn AP1 Adhesive Primer for improving adhesion on the build platform
Product description
3Dresyn AP1 Adhesive Primer is an adhesive primer designed for improving adhesion of 3D resins on the build platform.
It leaves a sticky, uniform and smooth adhesive layer on the build platform for adhering 3D resins with intrinsic poor adhesion on the build platform, including high ceramic or metal content 3D resin slurries and other difficult-to-adhere 3D resins.
Application framework
Designed for use in vat photopolymerization systems (SLA, DLP and LCD) within commercial and professional environments to improve first-layer and build-platform adhesion of challenging 3D resins.
Typical applications
- Improving adhesion of 3D resins on the build platform
- High ceramic content 3D resin slurries
- High metal content 3D resin slurries
- 3D resins with intrinsic poor adhesion on the build platform
Measured physical properties
- Viscosity: <6000 mPas at 23°C ± 2°C (ISO 3219)
Functional performance characteristics
- Ideal for adhering 3D resins on the build platform
- Leaves a sticky, uniform and smooth adhesive layer on the build platform
- Suitable for adhering 3D resins with intrinsic poor adhesion on the build platform
- Suitable for high ceramic or metal content 3D resin slurries
Processing and handling performance
- Printable by most commercial and professional SLA, DLP & LCD 3D printers
- Print several adhesion layers, 2-4 layers, with 3Dresyn AP1 by itself in a separate resin tank
- Pause printing and replace the resin tank containing 3Dresyn AP1 with another resin tank containing the 3D resin that had adhesion problems on the build platform
- Carry on printing after resin tank replacement
Chemical and safety characteristics
- Synthetic resin source
- Organo-tin free
Testing & processing disclaimer
Final adhesion performance depends on printer type, build platform condition, number of adhesion layers, exposure settings, resin formulation and workflow implementation, and must be validated by the user.
