3Dresyn PP TFD70 tough & foldable D70
Product description
3Dresyn PP TFD70 is a tough, non-brittle photopolymer formulation designed to provide enhanced flexibility and foldability while maintaining structural integrity. The material enables the fabrication of durable components that can undergo repeated deformation without cracking or permanent damage.
This formulation is engineered to deliver a low-modulus mechanical profile with high flexibility, making it particularly suitable for applications requiring repeated compression, surface conformity and elastic-like behavior.
Application framework
Designed for use in vat photopolymerization systems (SLA, DLP and LCD) within professional and industrial environments for flexible, impact-resistant and deformation-tolerant components.
Particularly suitable for flexible printing plates where high compliance, surface adaptation and repeated compression cycles are required.
Typical applications
- Flexographic (flexo) printing plates for medium and low hardness requirements
- Pad printing clichés with enhanced surface conformity and ink transfer
- Soft-contact printing plates for irregular or textured substrates
- Relief printing plates requiring high flexibility
- Flexible plates for packaging, labeling and soft substrates
- 3D printed plates and panels
- Flexible functional components
- Thin-wall and foldable structures
Measured mechanical properties
- Tensile strength: <20 MPa (ISO 527-1 / ISO 527-2)
- Flexural strength: <25 MPa (ISO 178)
- Young’s modulus: <500 MPa (ISO 527)
- Elongation at break: <40% (ISO 527)
- Shore hardness: D70 (ISO 868)
Measured physical properties
- Shrinkage: very low (typical)
- Resolution capability: very high (process-dependent)
- Color stability: non-settling formulation
Functional performance characteristics
