3Dresyn IM-E, durable and elastic for injection of soft materials
Product description
3Dresyn® IM-E is an elastic photopolymer developed for the fabrication of ultra-soft and highly deformable components requiring maximum flexibility and high elongation.
Application framework
Designed for use in vat photopolymerization systems (SLA, DLP and LCD) within controlled professional environments. Suitable for applications requiring elastic materials capable of large deformation and recovery without fracture.
Typical applications
- Elastic and soft functional components
- Highly deformable structures
- Flexible seals and soft interfaces
- Soft tooling and auxiliary elements
- Applications requiring extreme elongation and low stiffness
Measured mechanical properties
- Shore hardness: A20 (ISO 868)
- Tensile strength: <2 MPa (ISO 527)
- Flexural strength: <1.5 MPa (ISO 178)
- Young’s modulus: <2 MPa (ISO 527)
- Elongation: >90% (ISO 527)
- Very low viscosity: <50 mPa·s (Brookfield)
- Very low shrinkage (internal method)
Functional performance characteristics
- Elastic behavior
- 100% foldable without breaking
- Durable under repeated deformation
- Very high resolution
- Very low shrinkage
Processing and handling performance
