Product description
Fine Tuner 2PP FT9 Bio WS is a bio-based and biocompatible water-soluble photo accelerant additive designed for two-photon polymerization workflows. It is recommended for increasing the cure speed of biocompatible 3Dresyns 2PP resins.
The additive is intended to provide maximum control of writing speed in 2PP printers, with dosage adjustment used to increase writing speed progressively. Overdosage may cause overcure of the resin beyond limits/specifications and result in potential loss of resolution.
Application framework
Designed for incorporation into two-photon polymerization workflows using 2PP printers operating with laser wavelengths in the 600-800 nm range, especially for biocompatible applications and tissue engineering bio scaffolds.

Recommended use guidelines
- Recommended for 2PP printers having laser wavelengths in the 600-800 nm range
- Recommended dosage steps: 1-2% in high laser power 2PP printers
- Recommended total dosage: 2-6% on 3Dresyn 2PP without any photo accelerant
- Increase dosage in 1-2% steps starting at 2% dosage
- Normally used at dosages from 2 to 6% by weight
- Avoid over dosage to prevent overcure and potential loss of resolution

- 100% transparent in the near infrared range above 800 nm
- Effective two-photon absorption cross-section at 780 nm permitting 2PP with lasers 780-800 nm with high powers at <200 mW
Processing and handling performance
- Recommended for increasing the cure speed of biocompatible 3Dresyns 2PP resins
- Essential in 2PP printers to have maximum control of writing speed
- Dosage should be increased gradually to optimize writing speed
- Overdosage may lead to overcure and loss of resolution
- Please do not expose any 3D resins to natural or room light to prevent their curing
