Fine Tuner 2PP LB3 Bio ULWA, biocompatible and bio-based hydrophobic resolution-er with ultra low water absorption for improving resolution of two photon polymerization 2PP resins
Product description
Fine Tuner 2PP LB3 Bio ULWA is a biocompatible and bio-based hydrophobic resolution additive designed to improve resolution, precision and dimensional accuracy of two-photon polymerization resins. It is a clear resolution additive developed to improve xyz resolution, precision and dimensional accuracy by reducing overcure of 2PP prints beyond specifications.
The formulation is a polymerization retarder recommended for increasing resolution by reducing printing speed and undesired overcure of two-photon polymerization prints, including biomedical applications where high hydrophobicity, safety and biocompatibility standards are required.
Fine Tuner 2PP LB3 Bio ULWA is described as a 100% safe hydrophobic biocompatible resolution additive with ultra low water absorption and with a Material Safety Data Sheet free of toxic hazards and pictograms.
Application framework
Designed for incorporation into two-photon polymerization workflows using 2PP printers, especially when improving resolution, precision and dimensional accuracy by reducing overcure of the resin beyond specifications.
Typical applications
- Improving xyz resolution of 2PP resins
- Improving precision of 2PP prints
- Improving dimensional accuracy of 2PP prints
- Reducing overcure in two-photon polymerization workflows
- Biomedical applications requiring high hydrophobicity, safety and biocompatibility
Recommended use guidelines
- Recommended when lack of resolution is due to overcuring
- Recommended use in increasing steps of 1%
- Use progressively to reduce gradually overcure of the resin beyond specifications
- Optimization is required to obtain optimum resolution, precision and dimensional accuracy in specific 2PP printer settings
- If resolution issues are due to undercuring or overcuring, dosage adjustment of Fine Tuner 2PP FT8 Bio may also be required depending on the cause
