VAM Stable Ultra Transparent Colors kit without any sedimentation
Product description
VAM 3Dresyns Ultra Transparent Colors kit is a colorant kit designed for coloring VAM resins.
This kit is compatible and stable with all VAM 3Dresyns and with most commercial VAM 3D resins, providing excellent transparency, suspension stability and nano scale color performance for transparent finishes and micro-detailed resolution.
Application framework
Designed for coloring VAM 3D resins in professional volumetric additive manufacturing workflows requiring transparent colored finishes, custom color blending and controlled optical performance.
Typical applications
- Coloring VAM resins
- Transparent colored finishes in VAM workflows
- Custom color design by blending basic colors
- Resolution refinement in colored VAM resin systems
Measured physical properties
- Relative transmittance at 400-500 nm range: Cyan (medium-high)
- Relative transmittance at 400-500 nm range: Magenta (low-medium)
- Relative transmittance at 400-500 nm range: Yellow (low-medium)
- Relative transmittance at 400-500 nm range: Black (low)
- Relative transmittance at 400-500 nm range: White (high: 100% >420 nm)
Functional performance characteristics
- Compatible and stable with all our VAM 3Dresyns and with most commercial VAM 3D resins
- Excellent transparency
- Excellent suspension stability, without suffering any compact settling or sedimentation
- Excellent light fastness
- Nano scale colors for superior resolution and micro-detailed transparent finishes
- Excellent performance as resolution increasers, with the exception of the white color, reducing bleeding to improve resolution
- Blendable for custom color design
Processing and handling performance
- Supplied as a kit, which contains the products, one graduated beaker and one empty 250 mL black bottle to measure, mix, keep and protect the 3D resins from daylight
- Please do not expose any 3D resins to natural or room light to prevent their curing
- Includes 5 samples of 10 grams of VAM Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black and White basic colors
- Any color can be replaced by another or by a single color sample of 50 grams
- Normally used at small dosage, <0.1-0.3% by weight or higher
- Each 10 grams color sample is enough for coloring between 5-10 kgs of 3D resins
- Grey color can be easily made by mixing black and white colors
Chemical and safety characteristics
- Stable colorant system for VAM 3D resins
Testing & processing disclaimer
Final color, transparency, resolution improvement, optical transmission and suspension stability depend on resin type, color dosage, blend ratio, curing conditions and workflow implementation, and must be validated by the user.
