Cleaning Fluid WS1 Bio – Low-Viscosity Cleaner for Water-Soluble and Swellable 3D Prints
Product description
Cleaning Fluid WS1 Bio is a bio-based cleaning fluid developed for washing water-soluble or swellable 3D printed materials and assisting removal of surface residues.
It is specifically formulated for cleaning water-soluble sacrificial 3D printed systems, including materials used in sacrificial molding and investment casting workflows.
Application framework
Designed for washing water-soluble or swellable 3D printed materials, including water-soluble sacrificial 3D printed systems used in sacrificial molding and investment casting workflows.
Typical applications
- Washing water-soluble or swellable 3D printed materials
- Cleaning water-soluble sacrificial 3D printed systems
- Sacrificial molding workflows
- Investment casting workflows
Measured mechanical properties
Measured physical properties
- Viscosity: <10 mPas at 23°C ± 2°C (ISO 3219)
Functional performance characteristics
- Effective washing performance for water-soluble and certain non-water-soluble 3D prints, including thermosets and selected thermoplastics such as TPU and polyamides/nylon
- Formulated for efficient cleaning of water-soluble or swellable resin systems
Processing and handling performance
- IFU for water soluble sacrificial 3D printed resins
- For smoothing prints use Cleaning Fluid WS1 (non-Bio version)
- For cleaning non-water-soluble durable 3D resins, use Cleaning Fluid Bio, Cleaning Fluid NW1 Bio, or Cleaning Fluid UNW1 Bio when whitening sensitivity is a concern.
Chemical and safety characteristics
- Bio-based cleaning fluid
Testing & processing disclaimer
For smoothing prints use Cleaning Fluid WS1 (non-Bio version). For cleaning non-water-soluble durable 3D resins, use Cleaning Fluid Bio, Cleaning Fluid NW1 Bio, or Cleaning Fluid UNW1 Bio when whitening sensitivity is a concern.
