How to choose
How to choose the right cleaner
Select the most suitable product according to what you are cleaning, the clarity you need and its safety positioning.
- Need the highest gloss & transparency on durable prints (no whitening) → UNW1 Bio or UNW2 Bio
- Also need thermal post-curing up to 100 ºC → UNW2 Bio or NW1 Bio
- Need medium clarity → NW1 Bio
- Need a basic biocompatible wash (lower clarity) → Bio
- Washing, smoothing or post-curing sacrificial prints (water-soluble & non-water-soluble) → WS1 Bio (preferred) or WS2 Bio; WS1 for smoothing (non-biocompatible)
- Dissolving solvent-soluble printed materials → SS1 Bio, or SS1F for faster dissolving
Products in this collection
Products in this collection are shown below.
Ultra non-whitening cleaners
For washing and light post-curing of durable prints with the highest gloss and transparency, without haziness or whitening.
- Ultra non-whitening, high clarity (gloss & transparency); no risks.
- UNW1 Bio: balsamic fragrance, very low viscosity (<10 cps at 25 ºC).
- UNW2 Bio: odorless, medium viscosity (<160 cps at 25 ºC); supports thermal post-curing up to 100 ºC (or higher).
Non-whitening cleaner
For washing and light or thermal post-curing of durable prints where medium clarity is acceptable.
- Non-whitening, medium clarity (less than UNW1 Bio and UNW2 Bio); no risks.
- Odorless, low viscosity (<50 mPas at 25 ºC).
- Supports light and thermal post-curing up to 100 ºC (or higher).
Basic biocompatible cleaner
For washing and light post-curing of durable prints at room temperature where clarity is not the priority.
- Odorless biocompatible cleaner; low clarity (less than UNW1 Bio, UNW2 Bio and NW1 Bio); no risks.
- Low viscosity (<50 mPas at 25 ºC) with high hydrophilicity and polarity.
- Washing and light post-curing of durable prints by dipping at room temperature.
Sacrificial-print cleaners (water-soluble & non-water-soluble)
For washing, smoothing and post-curing of sacrificial prints — both water-soluble and non-water-soluble.
- WS1 Bio: bio-based & biocompatible, very low viscosity (<10 mPas at 25 ºC); washing and post-curing of water-soluble or swellable prints (preferred).
- WS2 Bio: odorless biocompatible, high hydrophobicity; second alternative for post-curing water-soluble sacrificial prints.
- WS1: non-biocompatible, ultra low viscosity (<1 mPas at 20 ºC); cleaning & surface smoothing of water-soluble and non-water-soluble prints — has risks, handle with care.
Solvent solutions
For dissolving solvent-soluble 3D printed materials.
- SS1 Bio: biocompatible solvent solution for dissolving solvent-soluble 3D printed materials.
- SS1F: faster-dissolving solvent solution for solvent-soluble 3D printed materials.
Cleaning fluids comparison table
Compare clarity, safety positioning and application across the cleaning fluids. (Solvent solutions SS1 Bio and SS1F are listed in their route above.)
| Cleaning Fluid | Main properties | Clarity of prints | Safety | Application |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| UNW1 Bio Ultra Non Whitening | Balsamic fragrance cleaner with very low viscosity (<10 cps at 25ºC) and very low hydrophilicity and polarity for washing and cleansing prints without haziness. | High | No risks | Washing and light post-curing of durable prints by dipping at room temperature. |
| UNW2 Bio Ultra Non Whitening | Odorless cleaner of medium viscosity (<160 cps at 25ºC) with medium hydrophobicity and polarity for washing and cleansing prints without haziness. | High | No risks | Washing and light post-curing of durable prints by dipping at room temperature and for thermal post-curing up to 100ºC (or higher). |
| NW1 Bio Non Whitening | Odorless cleaner of low viscosity (<50 mPas at 25ºC) with low hydrophilicity and polarity for washing and cleansing prints (confers less clarity than UNW1 Bio and UNW2 Bio). | Medium | No risks | Washing and light post-curing of durable prints by dipping at room temperature and for thermal post-curing up to 100ºC (or higher). |
| Bio | Odorless biocompatible cleaner of low viscosity (<50 mPas at 25ºC) with high hydrophilicity and polarity for washing and cleansing prints (confers less clarity than UNW1 Bio, UNW2 Bio and NW1 Bio). | Low | No risks | Washing and light post-curing of durable prints by dipping at room temperature. |
| WS1 | Non-biocompatible cleaner of ultra low viscosity (<1 mPas at 20ºC) with high hydrophilicity and polarity for washing and smoothing non-water-soluble and water-soluble 3D prints. | Low | Risks | Washing and smoothing water-soluble and non-water-soluble sacrificial 3D prints at room temperature. |
| WS1 Bio | Bio-based and biocompatible cleaner of very low viscosity (<10 mPas at 25ºC) for washing and post-curing water-soluble or swellable 3D prints. | NA | No risks | Washing and light post-curing of water-soluble or swellable 3D prints by dipping at room temperature. |
| WS2 Bio | Odorless biocompatible cleaner of low viscosity (<20 mPas at 40ºC) with high hydrophobicity for post-curing water-soluble sacrificial 3D prints. Second less recommended alternative to Cleaning Fluid WS1 Bio for washing and post-curing water-soluble or swellable 3D prints. | NA | No risks | Post-curing water-soluble sacrificial 3D prints by immersion or dipping. |

Workflow note
Final results depend on the full washing and post-curing workflow
Cleaning quality, print clarity and curing outcomes depend on the resin, the cleaner, its viscosity, the dipping or immersion method, the temperature and the post-curing step — not on the cleaner alone.
Match the cleaner to your resin, print type and equipment, and follow each product's Instructions for Use, paying attention to the stated safety positioning.
