3Dresyns® first-print checklist
This page provides a short and practical checklist for users preparing their first print with 3Dresyns® resins.
Purpose: reduce avoidable workflow errors before printing, washing and post-curing.
This checklist is a practical companion to the Start Here page, the Fast IFU and the CHITUBOX & Lychee parameter guide.
1) Before printing
Basic setup checks
Before the first print, confirm that the basic conditions are correct. This is the fastest way to reduce unnecessary first-print failures.
Resin and documentation
- Correct resin selected for the intended application.
- Relevant IFU or Fast IFU reviewed.
- Correct printer technology confirmed for the selected material.
Material condition
- Resin mixed or homogenised correctly.
- Resin condition visually checked before printing.
- Temperature acceptable for stable printing.
Printer and slicing setup
- Vat clean and ready.
- Build platform correctly prepared and installed.
- Layer height selected.
- Starting exposure logic entered.
- Bottom settings reviewed.
- Lift settings kept moderate for the first trial.
2) Before launching the first print
Keep the first trial simple
First-print strategy
- Use a validation geometry first, not a complex final-use part.
- Do not over-edit advanced slicer fields.
- Use 3Dtest1 before larger or more demanding parts.
- Do not change many variables at once.
Quick rule: the first print is a validation step, not a final optimisation step.
3) After washing
Post-wash checks
Before drying and cure
- Part washed using the intended workflow.
- No obvious uncured residue remains.
- Part fully dried before final cure.
- Support removal strategy considered before post-curing if relevant.
4) Before final cure
Final checks before post-curing
Final workflow review
- Part completely dry.
- Correct post-curing route confirmed.
- Geometry supports the intended post-curing workflow.
- Application requirements understood before considering the process validated.
Do not treat a part as validated only because it printed. A correct workflow also includes washing, drying and post-curing.
