3D-ADD WRA1 Bio, wear resistance bio additive
Product description
3D-ADD WRA1 Bio is a bio additive for improving the wear, abrasion, rub, and marking resistance of 3D resins.
It is a liquid additive for clear and colored finishes and is designed for use at low dosage on top of resin solids. It is supplied as a kit for measuring, mixing, storing and protecting 3D resins from daylight.
Application framework
Designed for use with 3D resin systems to improve wear, abrasion, rub, and marking resistance in clear and colored finishes.
Typical applications
- Improving wear, abrasion, rub, and marking resistance of 3D resins
Measured physical properties
- Liquid additive for clear and colored finishes
- Recommended dosage: additions of <1 % by weight on top of resin solids
Functional performance characteristics
- Excellent wear, abrasion, rub, and marking resistance
- Does not attack plastics nor causes any damage nor breaking
- At high dosage and thick parts it may cause some haziness or clarity reduction of clear prints
Processing and handling performance
- It is supplied as a kit, which contains the product, one graduated beaker and one empty 250 mL black bottle to measure, mix, keep and protect the 3D resins from daylight
- Please do not expose any 3D resins to natural or room light to prevent their curing.
- Due to its high slippery effect it can cause a decrease of adhesion, either on the build platform or between layers
- This effect is prone to occur at high relative dosage and with low sticky 3D resins
Chemical and safety characteristics
- Eco friendly and ultra safe, based on natural raw materials
- Biocompatible, non hazardous, free of hazards, pictograms and risk phrases
- Non-allergenic, non-cytotoxic
- Organo-tin free
Testing & processing disclaimer
Due to its high slippery effect it can cause a decrease of adhesion, either on the build platform or between layers. This effect is prone to occur at high relative dosage and with low sticky 3D resins.
