3D-POWDER SLS NYLON12 30-50 is a specifically designed fine and ultra narrow particle size distribution polyamide 12 (Nylon 12) powder for SLS printing of high accuracy and resolution nylon printed parts.
This white thermoplastic SLS powder is designed for direct SLS printing of high quality Nylon 12 parts, with very high toughness and mechanical strength.
Application framework
Designed for selective laser sintering of polymer powder parts requiring high accuracy, high resolution, toughness and mechanical strength. Also suitable as an additive for Cold Metal Fusion, Cold Ceramic Fusion, Cold Polymer Fusion and Cold Exotic Powder Materials Fusion workflows.

- Izod impact strength, notched: 100 J/m (ASTM D256 & ISO 180)
- Flexural modulus: 1400 MPa (ISO 178)

- Water absorption after 24 hours: <0.5% (ISO 62)
- Vicat softening temperature: 170-180ºC (ISO 306/B50)
- Melting temperature: 175-180ºC (ISO 11357)
- Coefficient of Friction COF-static: 0.35 (ISO 8295)
- Heat Deflection Temperature HDT at 1.8 MPa: 40-45ºC (ISO 75)
- Service temperature: from -40ºC up to 80-90ºC continuous / +140ºC short term
- High accuracy and resolution of final products: 50-100 microns depending on laser spot size and layer thickness

- Typical narrow particle size distribution in microns, not to be considered a specification:
- D100: 80 (100% of particles have less than 80 microns)
- D90: 50 (90% of particles have less than 50 microns)
- D50: 40 (50% of particles have less than 40 microns)
- D10: 30 (10% of particles have less than 30 microns)
- D1: 15 (1% of particles have less than 15 microns)
- Recommended plastic or polymer powder SLS printers: SLS printer compatibility
- Suitable for FORMIGA P 110 Velocis, EOS P 396, EOS P 770 and EOS P 500
- Recommended printing process: use the standard printing parameters of your equivalent polymer powder and follow 3Dresyns IFU for SLS printing
- For Cold Metal Fusion, Cold Ceramic Fusion, Cold Polymer Fusion, and Cold Exotic Powder Materials Fusion, add 10% of 3D-POWDER SLS NYLON12 30-50 for improved and faster debinding
