3Dresyn BioDeg Corn F is a bio based and biodegradable and compostable semi Flexible thermoplastic 3D resin containing corn which has been designed for eco friendly and biodegradable SLA, DLP & LCD 3D printing. 3Dresyn BioDeg Corn F contains 85% total bio content including corn and other bio based vegetable ingredients functionalised to react with light.
The goal of this product line is to promote the usage of bio based biodegradable SLA 3D printing by developing eco friendly biodegradable resins made with ultra high content of bio based ingredients.
3Dresyn BioDeg Corn F partially breaks down biologically into biological simpler substances through the action of already incorporated enzymes and from enzymes from microorganisms. 3Dresyn BioDeg Corn F is compostable and safe fror aquatic life and the environment.
One of the key objectives of 3Dresyns is to design, make and promote safe and environmentally friendly 3D resins to ensure safe printing resin handling and disposal.
This product line has been designed to be environmentally friendly and exhibits these features and benefits:
- 85% bio content from renewable "green source"
- thermoplastic resin with increasing flexibility upon heating with elongation <10%
- more flexible than 3Dresyn BioDeg Corn H
- Shore hardness D30-60 range, depending on printer specifications, postcuring degree and room temperature since hardness and rigidity are sensitive to temperature at 10-50ºC (thermoplastic behaviour)
- eco-friendly
- biodegradable, compliant with ISO 14855-2:2018 & ASTM D5338
- compostable and safe for aquatic life and the environment
- non-persistent and inherently biodegradable (OECD 301 F biodegradation of >80% after 60 days) after being liquefied with 3Dresyns Liquefier
- slow medium curing: typically cures in around 10-15 seconds at 50 microns Z layers when tuned with Fine Tuner FT1
- slow curing: typically cures in around 15-25 seconds at 50 microns when tuned with Fine Tuner FT5 Bio HP
- low tensile and flexural strength < 5 MPa
- semi rigid with increasing flexibility upon heating (thermoplastic): Young modulus <800 MPa
- viscosity <7000 mPas at 25ºC

- compatible with most SLA, DLP & LCD printers from 200 to 410 nm when tuned with Fine Tuner FT1
