3Dresyn IM-H&C1 Cocoon MF Bio - Monomer-Free Hard & Crispy Sacrificial Resin

3Dresyn® IM-H&C1 Cocoon MF Bio is a hard and crispy monomer-free (MF) sacrificial photopolymer developed for the fabrication of cocoon-type molds designed for controlled manual breakage after casting.

Designed for use in vat photopolymerization systems (SLA, DLP and LCD) within controlled professional environments. Suitable for the fabrication of non-water-soluble sacrificial cocoon molds for soft material injection workflows.

• Shore hardness: A90 (ISO 868)
• Low tensile strength for controlled breakage (ISO 527 indicative)
• Very low shrinkage: <3% (internal method)
• High resolution: features down to ~20 µm (process-dependent)

• Density: 0.90–1.20 g/cm³, depending on formulation and, where applicable, selected version (ISO 1675)
• Printing shrinkage: no measurable dimensional shrinkage after calibration under validated processing conditions
• Low viscosity: <500 mPa·s (internal method)

• Hard and crispy behavior for controlled brittle fragmentation
• Non-water-soluble sacrificial system
• Optimized for cocoon wall thicknesses >2 mm
• Suitable for soft material injection such as waxes and RTV silicones

• Compatible with most commercial and professional SLA, DLP and LCD 3D printers
• Monomer-free (MF) formulation as supplied
• Bio-based resin system derived from renewable resources
• Organo-tin free

Material performance depends on printer type, exposure conditions, mold geometry and casting workflow. Manual breakage behavior must be validated under the intended application conditions.
