Product description
3Dresyn® NS1 is a non-swellable hydrogel photopolymer developed for SLA, DLP and LCD additive manufacturing, enabling the fabrication of rigid absorbent structures that absorb water, alcohol and other polar media with insignificant swelling while maintaining original size and shape.
Application framework
Designed for use in vat photopolymerization systems (SLA, DLP and LCD) within controlled professional and research environments. Suitable for hydrogel structures, absorbent materials and applications requiring fluid uptake without dimensional expansion.

Measured mechanical properties
- Shore hardness: D80 after printing, with minor decrease of surface hardness after dipping in water (ISO 868)
- Tensile strength: <40 MPa before dipping (ISO 527)
- Young’s modulus: >2000 MPa (ISO 527)
- Elongation: <8–12% before and after dipping (ISO 527)

Processing note
The final absorption behavior depends on geometry, wall thickness, immersion medium and conditioning time. Hollow structures can accelerate the uptake of water or alcohol while preserving dimensional stability.
