3Dresyn PP TFA70 tough & foldable A70
Product description
3Dresyn PP TFA70 is a tough, elastomeric photopolymer formulation designed to provide high flexibility, elasticity and foldability while maintaining structural integrity. The material enables the fabrication of durable components capable of undergoing repeated deformation and compression without cracking.
This formulation is engineered to deliver a true rubber-like mechanical profile (Shore A scale), making it particularly suitable for applications requiring high compliance, efficient stress distribution and repeated elastic recovery.
Application framework
Designed for use in vat photopolymerization systems (SLA, DLP and LCD) within professional and industrial environments for soft, elastic and impact-resistant components.
Particularly suitable for elastomeric printing plates where high compression, full surface conformity and efficient recovery are required.
Typical applications
- Flexographic (flexo) printing plates (medium-soft hardness range)
- Pad printing clichés with high conformity and efficient ink transfer
- Soft-contact printing plates for curved, irregular or compressible substrates
- Relief printing plates requiring elastic deformation
- Soft lithography and microcontact printing
- Flexible plates for packaging, labeling and soft materials
- 3D printed plates and panels
- Highly flexible functional components
Measured mechanical properties
- Tensile strength: <10 MPa (ISO 527-1 / ISO 527-2)
- Flexural strength: <10 MPa (ISO 178)
- Young’s modulus: <10 MPa (ISO 527)
- Elongation at break: >50% (ISO 527)
- Shore hardness: A70 (ISO 868)
Measured physical properties
- Shrinkage: very low (typical)
- Resolution capability: very high (process-dependent)
- Color stability: non-settling formulation
Functional performance characteristics
- Tough elastomeric (non-brittle) material behavior
- High flexibility and foldability without breaking
- High impact and shattering resistance
- Very low modulus enabling large deformation under load
- Durable under repeated mechanical stress
- High compression capability enabling full surface conformity
- Efficient elastic recovery for repeated printing cycles
- Suitable for cyclic deformation environments such as flexographic and pad printing
Printing plate performance
- Contact behavior: elastomeric (high compression)
- Ink transfer: driven by deformation and full surface conformity
- Recovery: high elastic recovery after compression cycles
- Best suited for: flexographic printing plates and pad printing clichés
- Flexo note: suitable for medium-pressure applications and irregular substrates
- Pad printing note: excellent ink pickup and release due to elastomeric behavior
Processing and handling performance
- Printing technologies: SLA, DLP and LCD
- Compatible with most commercial and professional systems when properly calibrated
- Stable processing and reliable printability
- Increased durability of the resin tank during printing
Chemical and safety characteristics
- Monomer-based (MB) formulation
