The formulation provides efficient curing kinetics across a broad spectral range (150–500 nm), covering far, medium and near UV as well as visible light sources including LEDs, lasers and DLP projectors.

Fine Tuner FT5 Bio WS, Water-Soluble Photoaccelerant up to 500 nm
Product description
Application framework
Designed for use in vat photopolymerization systems (SLA, DLP, LCD and Inkjet), particularly in water-soluble resin systems and biocompatible workflows using medium to high power printers.
Typical applications
- Increasing cure speed in water-soluble 3D resins
- Biocompatible and biofabrication workflows
- Hydrophilic resin systems and biomedical applications
- Bioplotting and soft-material processing
Recommended use guidelines
- Recommended wavelength range: 150–500 nm
- Compatible with UV and visible light systems (LEDs, lasers, DLP projectors, daylight LCDs)
- Suggested dosage in high-power systems: 0.5–1 wt%
- Suggested dosage in low-power systems: 1–2 wt%
- Higher dosage (>6–8 wt%) may be required in very low power systems
- Add progressively and mix thoroughly before evaluation
Physical properties
- Density: 0.90–1.20 g/cm³, depending on formulation and, where applicable, selected version (ISO 1675)
- Avoid overdosing to prevent overcure and loss of dimensional accuracy
Functional performance characteristics
- Efficient cure acceleration in water-soluble systems
- Full compatibility with hydrophilic and water-soluble resins
Physical and chemical characteristics
- Water-soluble additive
- Natural plant-based composition
Processing and handling performance
- Optimized for medium and high-power SLA and DLP systems
- Limited performance in very low power systems with slow-curing resins
- Compatible with SLA, DLP, LCD, mLCD and Inkjet workflows
- Essential for printers with fixed exposure parameters
- Requires careful dosage adjustment depending on resin reactivity
System compatibility note
Fine Tuner FT5 Bio WS is not recommended for very slow-curing resins in very low-power printers, where curing kinetics may remain insufficient even at high dosage levels.
Testing & processing disclaimer
Cure behaviour, print speed and final part performance depend on resin formulation, printer irradiance, wavelength, exposure conditions and post-processing workflow. Optimization must be performed under real printing conditions.
Disclaimer
This product is supplied as a formulation additive for professional use in photopolymer engineering and additive manufacturing workflows. It is not a standalone printable material. Final part performance and suitability must be validated by the user according to the intended application.
