3Dresyn CG1 Clear Glass
Product description
3Dresyn CG1 Clear Glass is a high glass content photopolymer formulation designed for very high detail and high resolution fabrication of clear glass parts.
This material is sold as a customised product due to the high technical requirements associated with high glass loading. It is suitable for 3D printing, moulding and UV curing workflows requiring controlled shrinkage, partial chemical debinding and final sintering to clear glass.
Application framework
Designed for SLA, DLP and LCD 3D printers, ideally with heating, for manufacturing high resolution glass-loaded green parts followed by debinding and sintering to clear glass.
Typical applications
- Very high detail and high resolution glass parts
- Moulding and UV curing applications
- High precision glass microstructured parts
- Customised glass-loaded printing workflows
Measured physical properties
- Resolution of final products: 20 microns
- Final sintering temperature: 1300C
- Final density of 3D printed clear glass: 2.2 g/cc
- Viscosity: <12000 mPas at 23°C ± 2°C (ISO 3219)
Functional performance characteristics
- Adjustable glass concentration to your printer specifications
- Only sold as customised product due to high technical requirements of this high glass content material
- Very high resolution 3D printing for very high detail and resolution applications
- Also suitable for moulding and UV curing
- High print quality and speed with curing wavelengths up to 410 nm and higher upon request
- Controlled and reproducible process shrinkage
- Excellent partial chemical debinding for faster thermal debinding with less risk of micro cracking
- Minimum expansion coefficient and wide temperature interval of debinding to prevent micro-fractures
- Reproducible shrinkage after sintering
Processing and handling performance
- Printable by SLA, DLP & LCD 3D printers ideally with heating
- Increased durability of the resin tank
- Starting point debinding process: insert flask in the preheated oven at 150-200ºC
- Ramp 1-2ºC/minute up to 550ºC
- Hold at 550ºC for 30 minutes
- Ramp 1-2ºC/minute up to sintering temperature of 1250-1300ºC
- Hold at sintering temperature for 120 minutes
- Ramp 1-2ºC/minute down to 640ºC
- Our 3Dresyns have been designed to print in a broad range of printer settings
- Print Quality Fine Tuner FT1 is recommended to fine tune 3Dresyns to your specific printer settings, including faster or slower curing or exposure time and lower or higher layer thickness
Chemical and safety characteristics
- High glass content material
Testing & processing disclaimer
Final print quality, debinding behavior, shrinkage, sintering performance and final glass quality depend on printer settings, glass concentration, part geometry and full thermal workflow, and must be validated by the user.
Disclaimer
This material is supplied as a professional manufacturing material and is not marketed as a finished medical device. Final part performance and suitability must be validated by the user according to the intended application.
This technical datasheet should be used together with the relevant processing, calibration, safety and workflow documentation available in the 3Dresyns® Resources section.
