3Dresyn Perfect Cast MF Bio – Monomer-Free Photopolymer for Direct Investment Casting (SLA, DLP & LCD)
Product description
3Dresyn Perfect Cast MF Bio is a monomer-free photopolymer formulation developed for high-resolution direct investment casting applications in dental and precision metal casting workflows. The material is designed to provide clean burnout performance, dimensional stability and reliable pattern reproduction.
Application framework
Intended for professional use in vat photopolymerization systems (SLA, DLP and LCD) for fabrication of castable patterns compatible with phosphate-bonded investment systems and related casting workflows.
Typical applications
- Direct investment casting patterns for dental frameworks and components
- Precision casting patterns for laboratory metal casting workflows
- High-resolution sacrificial patterns for small and detailed geometries
- Auxiliary castable components for professional foundry and dental laboratory use
Material and processing characteristics
- Monomer-free formulation as supplied
- Very low viscosity
- Excellent print resolution and dimensional precision
- No measurable shrinkage during printing
- No expansion during burnout
- Clean burnout with negligible residual ash content (<0.0001%)
- Water-cleanable (isopropanol not required)
- No post-curing required prior to investment
- Available in magenta, cyan, yellow and natural white shades without pigment sedimentation
- Organo-tin free
- Compatible with most commercial and professional SLA, DLP and LCD printers
Measured physical and test-related characteristics
- Printing shrinkage: no measurable shrinkage under validated processing conditions
- Burnout expansion: no measurable expansion under validated burnout conditions
- Residual ash content: <0.0001% after burnout (reference burnout evaluation framework)
- Resolution capability: high (process-dependent)
- Viscosity: <30 mPas at 23°C ± 2°C (ISO 3219)
Functional characteristics
- Reliable pattern fidelity for direct investment casting workflows
- High dimensional accuracy for small and detailed geometries
- Clean burnout behavior suitable for precision casting
- Stable color distribution without pigment sedimentation
- Simplified workflow through water cleaning and no post-curing requirement prior to investment
Typical burnout protocol (reference)
- Insert flask into preheated oven at 200°C
- Ramp at 2°C/min to 550°C
- Hold 30 minutes at 550°C
- Ramp at 2°C/min to 720°C
- Hold 120 minutes at 720°C
- Ramp down to 640°C
- Proceed with centrifugal or vacuum casting
