Product description
3Dresyn VAM SSA1 is recommended for printing water and alcohol swellable super absorbent Hydrogel 3D materials.
It is designed for making very soft gels or jellies ultra elastic Hydrogel materials with Shore O30, which cannot be directly 3D printed due to their excessive softness and resilience. It is also intended for intricate, complex and highly customizable Hydrogel scaffold structures that can support cell adhesion and promote cell infiltration for tissue engineering 3D and for printing hydrogel scaffolds.
Application framework
Designed for use with VAM 3D printers for fabrication of water and alcohol swellable super absorbent Hydrogel materials, including hydrogel scaffolds, tissue engineering structures and highly detailed parts that swell after immersion in water or alcohol.

- Young’s modulus: >2000 MPa before dipping (ISO 527)
- Elongation at break: <8% before dipping (ISO 527)
- Shore hardness: D80 before dipping / O30 after dipping (ISO 868)
Measured physical properties
- Absorption: more than 3-4 times its weight of water and/or alcohol without losing its original shape
- Elongation after overnight dipping in water and/or alcohol: >>300%
- Color: clear
