3Dresyns® may also hold additional trademark rights, applications or registrations in other jurisdictions.

The exact legal status, territorial scope, registration details, classes and goods or services protected in each jurisdiction are determined by the applicable official trademark registers.

Accordingly, the list above is provided as general information concerning the international trademark protection of 3Dresyns® and should not be interpreted as a substitute for the relevant official trademark register.

3Dresyns registered trademark documentation

Ownership

All rights in the 3Dresyns® name, trademark and associated distinctive brand elements are reserved to their lawful owner.

Use of the 3Dresyns® trademark by another person or organization does not transfer ownership, create a license or grant any other intellectual-property right except where expressly authorized in writing or otherwise permitted by applicable law.

Permitted descriptive references

Customers, researchers, universities, distributors, service providers, journalists and other third parties may refer to 3Dresyns® truthfully where reasonably necessary to identify genuine 3Dresyns® Products, materials, technologies or services, subject to applicable trademark law and honest commercial practices.

Permitted descriptive references may include, where accurate:

  • identifying a material as a genuine 3Dresyns® Product;
  • stating that a test or experiment was performed using a specified 3Dresyns® material;
  • identifying a 3Dresyns® Product in a scientific publication, thesis, technical report or presentation;
  • referring to compatibility with a specified 3Dresyns® Product where the compatibility statement is accurate; or
  • identifying genuine 3Dresyns® Products offered for lawful resale.

Such descriptive use does not imply endorsement, sponsorship, certification, partnership, authorization, distribution rights or other commercial affiliation with 3Dresyns® unless such relationship actually exists.

Prohibited or misleading uses

Unless expressly authorized or otherwise permitted by applicable law, third parties must not use the 3Dresyns® trademark in a manner that:

  • creates a likelihood of confusion concerning the commercial origin of Products or Services;
  • suggests that a third party is 3Dresyns®, an official 3Dresyns® company, authorized distributor, representative, partner or affiliate when this is not the case;
  • suggests endorsement, sponsorship, approval, validation or certification by 3Dresyns® where none has been granted;
  • identifies third-party, substituted or counterfeit materials as genuine 3Dresyns® Products;
  • uses the trademark as the name or principal branding of an unrelated Product or Service;
  • incorporates the trademark into a company name, trade name, domain name, marketplace identity, social-media account or similar identifier in a misleading manner;
  • misrepresents the characteristics, origin, manufacturer or supplier of a Product;
  • alters or presents the trademark in a deceptive manner likely to create confusion; or
  • otherwise infringes applicable trademark, consumer-protection or unfair-competition law.

Use of the 3Dresyns® name in scientific publications

Authors may accurately identify genuine 3Dresyns® Products in scientific articles, preprints, theses, conference presentations, posters, technical reports and similar materials.

Use of the 3Dresyns® name solely to identify a Product does not mean that 3Dresyns® has sponsored, endorsed, reviewed, validated or approved the publication unless this is expressly stated and factually correct.

Trademark rights are separate from confidentiality obligations.

Permission to refer to the 3Dresyns® name does not authorize disclosure of Confidential Information, trade secrets, proprietary formulations, compositional information, unpublished technical information or other protected non-public information.

Where applicable, see 3Dresyns restricted publications and Permission to publish.

Use of the 3Dresyns® logo

Permission to use the word 3Dresyns® descriptively does not automatically include permission to reproduce the Company's logo, artwork, graphical identity or other protected brand assets.

Use of the official 3Dresyns® logo is governed separately by the Company's Use of logo policy and any specific written authorization issued by the Company.

Distributors, resellers and commercial partners

A distributor, reseller, service provider or other commercial party may describe genuine 3Dresyns® Products using the trademark where legally permitted and factually accurate.

However, such use must not imply that the party is an authorized distributor, exclusive representative, official partner, agent or affiliate of 3Dresyns® unless that status has been expressly granted and remains valid.

Any specific branding, marketing or trademark-use conditions contained in a distributor, reseller, collaboration or other written agreement prevail for the matters expressly governed by that agreement.

Product modifications and downstream use

A customer may accurately identify a genuine 3Dresyns® Product used as an input in its own research, formulation or manufacturing process.

Where a 3Dresyns® Product has been substantially modified, blended, diluted, combined with other materials, reformulated, processed outside the Company's specified or validated conditions or incorporated into another material system, the 3Dresyns® trademark must not be used in a manner that falsely suggests that the resulting material or final product was manufactured, supplied, validated, certified or approved by 3Dresyns®.

Compatibility statements

Third parties may make truthful compatibility statements referring to 3Dresyns® Products where necessary to explain the intended use or technical compatibility of another Product or process.

Such statements must be accurate and must not imply that 3Dresyns® has tested, validated, endorsed, certified or approved the third-party Product, equipment or process unless this has actually occurred and is expressly authorized.

Use in comparative information

The 3Dresyns® trademark may be used in lawful comparative, scientific or technical references where the identification is truthful, relevant and not misleading.

The trademark must not be manipulated or presented in a manner that creates false statements concerning the characteristics, performance, commercial relationships or origin of the Products concerned.

Third-party trademarks

References on the 3Dresyns® website to third-party trademarks, printer manufacturers, technologies, materials, commercial names or Product names may be used for identification, technical reference or compatibility information where appropriate.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, such references do not imply sponsorship, endorsement, affiliation, authorization or certification by the respective trademark owners.

All third-party trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

Trademark symbols

3Dresyns® may use the ® symbol where appropriate in connection with registered trademark rights.

The presence or absence of a trademark symbol on a particular webpage, Product description, document, label, image, invoice, quotation or communication does not constitute a waiver of trademark or other intellectual-property rights.

Domain names, company names and digital identities

Unless expressly authorized, third parties must not register or use domain names, company names, trade names, marketplace seller identities, social-media accounts, advertising identifiers or other digital identities incorporating 3Dresyns® where such use is likely to create confusion concerning ownership, authorization, affiliation or commercial origin.

Nothing in this provision prevents legitimate descriptive references that are permitted under applicable law and do not create such confusion.

Counterfeit and unauthorized Products

The 3Dresyns® trademark must not be applied to Products that were not supplied by, manufactured by or otherwise lawfully authorized by 3Dresyns®.

Third-party materials, copies, reproductions, substitutes or independently manufactured formulations must not be represented as genuine 3Dresyns® Products.

Likewise, original 3Dresyns® packaging, labels, Product names, photographs or other brand elements must not be used to misrepresent the origin of another material.

Repackaging

Where a genuine 3Dresyns® Product is lawfully repackaged, divided, incorporated into another Product or otherwise supplied downstream, any use of the 3Dresyns® trademark must comply with applicable law and must not create misleading impressions concerning who performed the repackaging, modification, quality control, validation or subsequent supply.

The downstream party remains responsible for its own packaging, labelling, regulatory and commercial representations.

No implied certification or endorsement

Purchase, possession, testing or use of a 3Dresyns® Product does not by itself make the Buyer or user:

  • an authorized distributor;
  • an official reseller;
  • a certified laboratory;
  • a certified printing service;
  • a technology partner;
  • an official representative;
  • an approved manufacturer; or
  • an endorsed organization.

Such status exists only where expressly granted by 3Dresyns®.

No implied license

Nothing on the 3Dresyns® website grants any person a general license to reproduce, modify, register, sublicense, commercially exploit or create derivative branding from the 3Dresyns® trademark, logo or other distinctive brand elements.

Any specific trademark license or broader authorization must be expressly granted in writing by the lawful rights holder.

Trademark registrations

The 3Dresyns® trademark is protected through registrations and other applicable trademark rights in multiple jurisdictions, including the United States of America, the European Union, United Kingdom, Israel, Mexico, China, Australia, Argentina, South Korea, Japan, Canada and India.

European Union trademark protection extends according to the applicable European Union trademark framework to EU Member States, including Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.

Because trademark portfolios and official registers may change over time, the relevant trademark-office records determine the current legal status, territorial coverage, classes and registration particulars in each jurisdiction.

For a specific trademark-status or authorization request, contact info@3Dresyns.com.

Protection of trademark rights

3Dresyns® reserves the right to protect its trademark and other intellectual-property rights against unauthorized, misleading, confusing or infringing uses through the remedies available under applicable law.

Nothing in this policy expands trademark rights beyond those provided by applicable law or restricts uses that applicable law expressly permits and that cannot lawfully be prohibited.

Governing principle

The 3Dresyns® trademark may be used truthfully to identify genuine 3Dresyns® Products, materials, technologies or services where permitted by applicable law, but it must not be used in a manner that creates confusion or falsely suggests authorization, affiliation, endorsement, certification, ownership or commercial origin.
