Product description

Cleaning Fluid WS1 is a high-performance cleaning and surface-smoothing fluid developed for washing water-soluble and non-water-soluble 3D printed parts. It efficiently removes surface residues and is particularly suitable for processing sacrificial water-soluble resin systems, such as injection mold patterns.

Cleaning Fluid WS1 can also be used as a cost-effective alternative to vapor smoothing systems. Many thermoplastic and thermoset 3D printed parts can be surface-smoothed by controlled immersion. Surface finish can be adjusted by modifying immersion time and temperature.

Application framework

Designed for washing water-soluble and non-water-soluble 3D printed parts, including sacrificial water-soluble resin systems, thermosets and thermoplastics such as TPU and polyamides (nylon). Suitable for cleansing and surface-smoothing workflows by controlled immersion.

Processing and handling performance

• Use only chemical-resistant glass or compatible plastic containers, as WS1 may affect certain polymers
• For washing (without smoothing) non-water-soluble durable 3D resins, use Cleaning Fluid Bio, Cleaning Fluid NW1 Bio, or Cleaning Fluid UNW1 Bio for whitening-sensitive transparent parts
• For lower-risk cleaning of water-soluble sacrificial systems, use Cleaning Fluid WS1 Bio

Chemical and safety characteristics

• Not intended for biomedical or biocompatible workflows
• Recommended smoothing temperature range: room temperature to 50 °C
• Must be handled according to its Safety Data Sheet (SDS)

Testing & processing disclaimer

Use only chemical-resistant glass or compatible plastic containers, as WS1 may affect certain polymers. For washing without smoothing of non-water-soluble durable 3D resins, use Cleaning Fluid Bio, Cleaning Fluid NW1 Bio, or Cleaning Fluid UNW1 Bio for whitening-sensitive transparent parts.
