Publicly Accessible Publications

This policy governs the documents that the Company publishes and makes openly accessible to the public. It is a dedicated policy within the meaning of the Order of precedence section of the Legal Terms, and it applies to the subject matter described below together with those Legal Terms.

Scope

The Company publishes certain technical documents and makes them openly accessible to the public under an All Rights Reserved copyright status, deposited with a permanent Digital Object Identifier (DOI) in the Company's Zenodo community.

This policy applies to:

  • the 3Dresyns Technical White Paper Series;
  • the 3Dresyns Engineering Reviews;
  • the 3Dresyns materials property datasets; and
  • any other document that the Company expressly identifies as publicly accessible under All Rights Reserved at the point of publication.

A document falls within this policy where it is made publicly accessible by the Company and the deposited record identifies it as All Rights Reserved or does not expressly grant a separate licence permitting reuse.

What public access permits

Documents within the scope of this policy may be accessed, viewed and downloaded from the location at which the Company or the relevant repository makes them publicly available.

Public access is provided for reading, consultation, reference and lawful citation. Public availability does not transfer copyright or ownership and does not grant permission to reproduce, redistribute, translate, adapt, remix, republish, commercially exploit or create derivative works from the material except where expressly permitted by applicable law or by prior written permission from the Company.

All copyright and other applicable intellectual property rights are reserved.

What public access does not grant

Public accessibility applies solely to access to the published document. It does not grant, and shall not be interpreted as granting:

  • any right to reproduce, redistribute, republish, translate, adapt, remix, modify, commercially exploit or create derivative works from the published document except where expressly permitted by applicable law or by prior written consent from the Company;
  • any right in the 3Dresyns® trademark, trade name, logo or other distinctive signs, which remain governed by the Use of logo policy;
  • any patent, utility model or other industrial property right of the Company;
  • any right in the Company's confidential information, know-how, trade secrets, formulations, raw material grades, supplier identities or compositional data, which remain governed by the Confidentiality policy and by the Company's trade secret protections;
  • any right to reverse engineer, deconstruct, analyse for the purpose of reconstruction, or otherwise determine the composition of the Company's products, which remains governed by the Prohibition against reverse engineering policy; or
  • any right in content not within the scope of this policy, including website pages, images, product pages, technical data sheets, instructions for use, safety data sheets, quotations and commercial documentation, which remain governed by the Ownership of contents policy.

The published documents contain results, methods, reasoning and application guidance. They do not disclose formulations, raw material grades or supplier identities. Where a published document appears to disclose such information, no licence or permission to use any confidential, proprietary or protected information is granted or implied.

Relationship with the Ownership of contents policy

The Ownership of contents policy restricts the distribution, modification, reproduction and commercial use of Company content without prior written consent.

Documents within the scope of this policy remain subject to those restrictions. Their public availability on the Company's website, Zenodo or another repository does not waive those restrictions and does not create any implied licence. Prior written consent is required for uses that require permission under applicable law.

The Ownership of contents policy continues to apply in full to all other content.

Relationship with other policies

This policy concerns documents published by the Company. It does not alter the obligations of any Buyer, user or research partner under:

The fact that the Company publishes a document openly does not extend any licence or permission to information that the Company has not published.

Versions, identifiers and rights status

Each published document carries a concept DOI, which is a version-independent identifier that resolves to the current version of that document, together with version-specific identifiers for each individual version.

The applicable rights status is determined for each published version. Unless the Company expressly states otherwise in writing, published versions within the scope of this policy are made publicly accessible under All Rights Reserved.

The Company may publish subsequent versions, correct or replace documents, or cease publishing further documents. Such actions do not transfer or waive any copyright, intellectual property or proprietary rights of the Company.

Repository and availability

Documents within the scope of this policy are deposited in an external repository operated by a third party, and their persistent identifiers are registered through an external registration agency. Access to and use of that repository are additionally subject to the terms of use of the repository operator, over which the Company has no control.

The availability of the repository, of a particular deposit, or of the resolution of a persistent identifier is not within the Company's control. Where a persistent identifier does not resolve, the Company may be contacted at info@3Dresyns.com and will take reasonable steps to restore access.

The Company retains its own record of each published version, so that a version may be identified and made available if the repository ceases to be accessible.

Corrections and errata

Where a published document requires correction, the Company publishes a corrected version together with a public statement of the correction, and the earlier version remains accessible through its version-specific identifier. Corrections are not applied silently.

Attribution

Where a document is lawfully cited or referenced, attribution should identify the author, the title of the document, the Company as publisher, and the DOI. A suggested citation is provided with each published document.

Attribution does not create, and must not be presented as creating, any sponsorship, endorsement, certification, partnership or approval by the Company of the person citing or referring to the material or of any product, service, result or conclusion derived from it. Use of the Company's name or marks in a manner that suggests such a relationship remains subject to the Use of logo policy and to applicable trademark law.

Requests for permission

Requests to reproduce, redistribute, translate, adapt, modify, republish, incorporate, commercially use or otherwise reuse material within the scope of this policy may be submitted in writing to info@3Dresyns.com.

Any permission is valid only where expressly granted in writing by the Company and applies only to the material, use, purpose and conditions expressly stated in that permission.

No warranty

The published documents are provided for technical information purposes. Nothing in a published document constitutes a guarantee of properties, a specification, or a representation as to the suitability of any material for a particular application. The Guarantee of properties, Limitation of liability and Website disclaimer policies continue to apply. Where a published document and a product technical data sheet differ, the technical data sheet published on the Company's website governs.

Mandatory rights

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any right, remedy, guarantee, protection or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified under applicable law.
