3D-ADD Circular RePrint DP150 (High-T Release Additive)
Product description
DP150 enables depolymerisable printing with high-temperature service stability and on-demand release at ~145–155 °C.
It is intended for fixtures, patterns, and tooling that must retain integrity at elevated temperatures before controlled depolymerisation. The system is designed for liquid recovery, reuse and re-print in compatible workflows.
Application framework
Designed for use in open-materials SLA, DLP and LCD workflows at 385–405 nm within industrial and R&D environments. Intended for industrial fixtures and patterns that see heat before removal, casting master models, and sacrificial tooling requiring on-demand recovery.
Typical applications
- Industrial fixtures and patterns that see heat before removal
- Casting master models
- Sacrificial tooling requiring on-demand recovery
Measured physical properties
- High-T release at ~145–155 °C
- Modifier Mode: 12–20 wt% in the host resin (start 12–15%)
- RePrint Mode: 40–60 wt% for full re-liquefaction behavior
- Exposure: +10–25% vs. baseline
- Mass recovery: ≥90% on 2–4 mm plates
- Recovered-liquid viscosity: within ±20% of virgin
- Re-print exposure delta: ≤25%
- Shelf life: 12 months sealed
- Storage: 15–25 °C, dry and dark
Functional performance characteristics
- High-T release (~150 °C) for robust service prior to removal
- High liquid recovery suitable for reuse and re-print
- Low-odor handling
- Compatible with 385–405 nm workflows
Processing and handling performance
- Work under low ambient light
- Add DP150 to the host resin with steady stirring
- Temper to 45–55 °C if needed for fast blending
- Degas and protect from light
- Keep platform and motion settings
- Increase exposure +10–25%
- Re-tune bottom/per-layer
- Use minimum-effective UV to reach mechanical spec
- Heat parts to ~145–155 °C for 10–60 min
- Collect the liquid as it flows
- Coarse-filter (≈25–50 μm)
- After several cycles, add a small dosage of Fine Tuner FT1 top-up if cure speed decreases
- Print the recovered liquid with +10–25% exposure vs. virgin
- Verify geometry and surface on internal coupons before production
- Clear and lightly pigmented systems preferred; heavy pigments/fillers require validation
- Industrial/R&D use
- PPE; ventilation
- Includes product, graduated beaker, and black 250 mL bottle for protected handling
Chemical and safety characteristics
- Low-odor handling
- Not cleared for implant/medical/food unless stated in writing
Testing & processing disclaimer
Typical validation targets are printer/process-dependent. Excessive over-post can slow release. Heavy pigments/fillers require validation. Given its advanced technical nature and the fact that effective use may require formulation-specific adjustment and controlled process development, it is offered as part of 3Dresyns proprietary resin customization services.
Disclaimer
