Some uni and multifunctional products for SLA, DLP, LCD, Inkjet and other printing technologies may need tuning or calibration to get optimum printability in specific printing settings. As example, some "black box" printers, in open or closed mode, such as Formlabs Form 2 & 3*, SprintRay and DWS, and some Inkjet printers, may also require tuning with our Fine Tuners for ensuring printability at specific printing specifications. INI files for Asiga printers are not provided by the Company. Alternatively, fast Instructions for Use IFU for Asiga are available online. It is highly recommended to follow our IFU, learn the printing basics and read the printer manual. Our fine tuning additives, such as Fine Tuner FT1 and Fine Tuner LB1 Bio, are recommended and may be needed for ensuring  printability, custom fine adjustment of printing speed and resolution, specially in "black box" closed mode printers. The Company does not offer any warranty of compatibility or printability of its products as supplied, nor after custom tuning with the Company fine tuning or functional additives since their usage is beyond its control, consequently compatibility or printability warranty cannot be provided by the Company.

Instructions for Use IFU

We provide online fast & easy to follow instructions for use IFU for selecting the best printing settings of our resins in your specific printer.

*Note: With "black box"closed mode printers, such as the Formlabs Form 2 and 3, keep it simple, do not add any of the optional functional additives to your order. Just ignore the bunch of offered "optional" options! You should also acknowledge that water and solvent soluble sacrificial 3Dresyns may swell instead of dissolve when printed with Formlabs high power lasers. Consequently, their usage is not recommended with laser printers. LCD printers are ideal for printing both solvent and water soluble sacrificial resins. On the other hand, some 3D resins are prone to dissolve the hard acrylic plastic of Formlabs resin tanks and infiltrate through the gap between the PDMS and the tank. This often ends up separating the PDMS from the tank, This limitation of Formlabs tanks limits the usage of some specific 3D resins which indeed do not have this sort of problems when used with competitor´s durable resin tanks and printers. The best way to overcome this matter is to contact us before ordering 3D resins for Formlabs and check with us their suitability for Formlabs resin tanks as supplied. We will help you to select the best resins for Formlabs. For more info read: 3D resins for Formlabs printers
