3D Adhesive HM1 printable Hot Melt adhesive

3D Adhesive HM1 "Hot Melt" is a low viscosity photocurable 3D adhesive.

After light curing it becomes a non-sticky, non fragile soft solid which becomes tacky and adhesive when heated, providing strong bonding after cooling. Its performance is similar to traditional hot melt adhesives.

Designed for adhesion and bonding workflows in SLA, DLP and LCD environments, including direct printing on plastics or metals previously attached to the build platform.

• Printing shrinkage: no measurable dimensional shrinkage after calibration under validated processing conditions
• Viscosity: <50 mPas at 23°C ± 2°C (ISO 3219)
• Low viscosity photocurable 3D adhesive
• Cure wavelength range: 200 to 420 nm
• Cure time: 1-2 minutes under sunlight or in any standard light box at high thickness from 0.1 to 1 cm

• Curable with any UV/Visible light source from 200 to 420 nm
• After light curing becomes a non-sticky, non fragile soft solid which becomes tacky and adhesive when heated providing strong bonding after cooling
• Similar performance to traditional hot melt adhesives
• Designed for adhering and gluing a broad range of plastics and metals when heated after curing
• Ideal for printing directly on plastics or metals previously attached to the build platform

• Printable by commercial and professional SLA, DLP & LCD 3D printers with non sensitive resin tanks
• Do not use it with Formlabs vats since 3D Adhesive HM1 can cause detachment of the PDMS from the bottom of the vat

• Organo-tin free

Final bonding strength, adhesion performance, cure behavior and printability depend on substrate type, surface preparation, part geometry, curing conditions, heating conditions and full workflow implementation, and must be validated by the user.
