Description

3Dresyn OD BCI1 MF Bio for printing Monomer Free BioComposite Dental Implants has these features and benefits:

  • ideal bioresin for printing custom designed biocompatible ultra safe Monomer Free MF dental implants based on biocomposites with absorbing occlusal forces similar to natural teeth
  • whitish color
  • metal and corrosion free, ideal for metal free restorations to prevent oxidation, corrosion and allergies
  • biomaterial with increased osseointegration and osteoblast proliferation versus titanium and zirconia implants
  • ideal for severe bruxism thanks to its bioelastic component for load cushioning
  • Monomer Free MF for reduced cytoxicity, increased biocompatibility and osseointegration
  • ideal for implant diameters/thichness of 4-5.5 mm (above 4 mm for maximum mechanical strength)
  • similar range of mechanical properties to teeth, mandible cortical and alveolar/trabecular bone to reduce overload and prevent bone resorption around the implant as occurs with overrigid metallic and ceramic implants
  • increased rigidity and strength vs mandible cortical and alveolar/trabecular bone with elastic or Young´s modulus <200 MPa and compressive strength <11 MPa
  • Young´s modulus 3000 MPa to comply with ISO 14801:2016
  • tensile, compression, and flexural strength <140MPa to reduce overload and the maximum contact pressure at the bone implant interface
  • high surface osteogenicity
  • high bone to implant contact
  • higher chemical resistance than alternative polymers such as PEEK
  • excellent mechanical strength with fracturing and fatigue resistance
  • optimal balance of micro-resilience/elasticity and abrasion resistance
  • Shore hardness >D90
  • choose LV version for a relatively Low Viscosity for printing without heated printers or below 25ºC
  • choose HV version for relatively High Viscosity version for printing with heated printers or above 25ºC, for overall improved durability and mechanical properties
  • elongation at yield <7%
  • designed for reduced risk of dynamic fatigue, microleakage and torque loss
  • high resolution up to 20 micron
  • excellent well balanced dimensional stability
  • very low shrinkage
  • printable by most commercial and professional SLA, DLP & LCD 3D printers
  • increased durability of the resin tank
  • organo-tin free
  • water solubility: ≤ 1,6 µg/mm3
  • hydrophobic, ultra low water sorption ULWA≤ 32 µg/mm3
  • radio opaque (non radioactive)  with optimum constrast radio opacity and definition for superposition control of the alignment of implants and dentures
  • ideal for radio opacity for X ray and CT or CAT (Computerized Axial Tomography)
  • warm the resin a bit to 25-30ºC before printing to reduce the peeling force
  • compliant with the Quality requirements of FDA, ISO 14801:2016, ISO 20795, 13485 & 10993*

*Note: static compression, dynamic fracture/fatigue, and biocompatibility testing need to be performed by implant manufacturers in their chosen and designed printer, printing and postprocessing protocols, since overall printing and postprocessing variables affect the polymer conversion, which determines the ultimate mechanical properties and biocompatibility of dental materials. In general, the higher the conversion the higher the mechanical strength and biocompatibility is. For more info read About Certification of biomedical devices and food packaging
