3Dresyn Circular RePrint Bio is a next-generation circular, repairable 3D resin engineered to travel from liquid → printed solid → back to liquid on demand.
Two thermal trigger options support distinct workflows:
-
DP80 depolymerises at ≈80 °C for rapid lab turnaround
-
DP150 uses a high-temperature trigger (~150 °C) for robust end-of-life deconstruction
- both versions maintain optical clarity, low odor, and 100% biogenic reactive content for sustainability-forward programs
Key benefits
-
circular & reusable: print → use → depolymerise to liquid → filter → reprint
-
two thermal triggers:
-
DP80: ~80 °C gentle depolymerisation for fast recycling
-
DP150: ~150 °C trigger depolymerisation for selective, robust recovery
-
repairable & weldable: supports thermal / light-assist interlayer welding and crack closure
-
sustainable chemistry: 100% biogenic reactive content, low VOC/odor
-
optically friendly: high transmission at 405 nm (validate in your geometry)
Recommended applications
-
sacrificial molds & cores: release at ≈80 °C (DP80) or ≈150 °C (DP150) to clear complex cavities; liquid is reusable
-
investment casting / jewelry sacrificial patterns (validate foundry cycle)
-
indirect AM tooling for elastomers/composites; microfluidics/optics requiring post-print re-bonding and stress moderation
-
CIM/MIM sacrificial patterns (simplified thermal removal molds before ceramic or metal debinding/sintering
How to use (printing guidance)
-
compatible printer:s SLA/DLP & LCD at 385–405 nm
-
post-cure: standard UV schedule; avoid over-post-curing if low brittleness is desired
Repair / Interlayer welding (typical SOP)
- Align joint; apply 60–100 °C for 10–20 min with light pressure. Optional local light-assist can accelerate edge closure. Validate on coupons
Circularity & Recycling
-
DP80 — Mode-L (≈80 °C): heat printed parts to ≈80 °C under your SOP until liquefied; filter fines; reprint.
-
DP150 — Mode-H (≈150 °C): (optional crush); heat to ≈150 °C for ~10–30 min under your SOP until liquefied; filter; reprint.
Times depend on part size, degree of post-cure, and equipment—qualify on internal coupons first.
Typical properties*
-
appearance: clear to very pale yellow liquid
-
odor: very low
-
viscosity (25 °C): typically ~1500–3500 mPa·s (drops to ~800–1800 mPa·s at 35 °C)
-
density (25 °C): ~1.05–1.12 g·cm⁻³
Handling & safety
Use PPE (gloves, goggles, lab coat) and adequate ventilation. Avoid prolonged bright-light exposure during handling. Consult SDS prior to use.
Storage & shelf life
Store 15–25 °C, dry, protected from light. Close promptly after use; nitrogen headspace recommended. Do not freeze. Shelf life: 12 months sealed.
IMPORTANT: The product has a guaranteed shelf life of 12 months, but in practice it has a longer shelf life. Its delivery time is around 4-8 weeks after ordering.
