Ultra safe biocompatible 3D resins
Our selection of biocompatible monomer free and monomer based SLA, DLP & LCD 3D resins for designing ultra safe industrial and biomedical applications (class I, II and III), biomedicine, engineering, educational, food contact and toys printing:
- Biorigid 3Dresyns for increased deflection temperature applications
- Biorigid resins exhibit lower mechanical resistance than Biotough 3dresyns
- Biotough and Bioflex MF 3Dresyns: ultra safe Monomer Free MF resins with Shore from D90 to A10
- Biotough MF resins: ultra safe and biocompatible tough monomer free MF resins with Shore D70-90 range
- Biotough MF grades have unique mechanical properties reaching up to 110-130 MPa in flexural strength
- Bioflex MF resins: ultra safe and biocompatible flexible monomer free MF resins with Shore from D60 to A10
- Bioflex MF D60 grades have unique mechanical properties reaching up to 40 MPa or higher in flexural strength
- Bioflex MF grades with Shore below A80 have lower mechanical properties than their Bioflex MB and NextGen Monomer Based counterparts
- Bioflex MF grades with Shore below A50 have lower mechanical properties than their Bioflex MB and NextGen Monomer Based counterparts
- Bioflex 3Dresyns MF exhibit lower mechanical properties than their monomer based counterparts Bioflex MB
- if you need flexible resins with superior tensile and flexural strength, as well as increased tear and folding endurance and do not mind using monomer based 3D resins, then explore and order our Bioflex MB. They can be postcured and postprocessed with the right protocols for meeting the most demmanding biocompatibility specifications and testings
- our 100% biocompatible flexible 3Dresyns Bioflex MF "Monomer Free" are ultra safe, even as supplied in liquid form, since do not contain any irritant monomers. They have been designed to meet the highest safety and biocompatibility standards. These products are non labeled with toxic pictograms because they are ultra safe for handling, end users and disposal
- Bioflex MF monomer free versions are recommended for bio printing rather than for functional biomedical applications, where biocompatibility and safety of the 3D resin in liquid form as supplied is more important than the final mechanical properties of the biomedical device,
- Biotough and Bioflex MB 3Dresyns: safe Monomer Based MB resins with Shore from D90 to A10
- Biotough MB grades exhibit overall similar mechanical performance and printability in comparison to their Monomer Free MF counterparts, which are recommended for ultra safe high tech bioprinting and biomedical apps
- Our Biotough MB grades are ultra tough, reaching 110-130 MPa in flexural strength, and consequently are ideal for printing functional engineering and biomedical materials. They do not exhibit fragility as most commercial 3D resins.
- Biotough MB grades contain ultra safe monomers, having only warning and aquatic pictograms. They have been designed to meet the highest safety and biocompatibility standards without sacrificing mechanical nor biocompatibility perfomance. These products are non labeled with toxic pictograms because they are ultra safe for handling, end users and disposal
- Bioflex MB 3Dresyns: ultra safe and flexible Monomer Based MB resins from Shore D60 to A10
- Bioflex MB grades exhibit overall improved mechanical performance and printability in comparison to their Monomer Free counterparts, which are recommended for ultra safe high tech bioprinting applications without any mechanical requirements
- Bioflex MB 3Dresyns contain monomers, which in liquid form can cause eye and skin irritation. Nevertheless, they have been designed to meet the highest safety and biocompatibility standards without sacrificing mechanical nor biocompatibility perfomance. These products are non labeled with toxic but with warning pictograms; causing skin and eye irritancy as supplied, which can be fully eliminated with the right postcuring and cleaning protocols to ensure their maximum biocompatibility
- Bioflex MB resins exhibit improved mechanical performance and printability in comparison to their Monomer Free counterparts, which are only recommended for ultra safe high tech bioprinting apps, for printing simple shape designs without any significant mechanical resistance requirements
- Bioelastic MB 3Dresyns: safe and elastic Monomer Based MB resins with Shore O50
- Bioelastic MB 3Dresyns: ultra safe and elastic monomer based resin with Shore O50
Our biocompatible 3Dresyns are ultra safe and have been designed to meet the highest safety and biocompatibility standards. These products are non labeled with toxic pictograms because they are ultra safe for handling, end users and disposal.
3Dresyns is the first and unique 3D resin supplier developing ultra safe functional "monomer free" and "monomer based" biocompatible 3D resins with non toxic risk pictograms.
Our Biotough grades are ultra tough, reaching 110-130 MPa in flexural strength, and consequently are ideal for printing functional engineering and biomedical materials. They do not exhibit fragility as most commercial 3D resins.
Read our Guidelines to select the right 3D resin for your needs
Choose the right Biocompatible 3D resin for your needs:
If you are after high mechanical performance choose:
- Biotough MF or MB versions since both are quite durable and mechanically resistant
- Bioflex MB versions since they are more mechanically resistant than MF equivalents
If you are after ultra high biocompatibility and do not need mechanical strength choose:
- Biotough MF versions since they have higher biocompatibility (but similar strength) than MB equivalents
- Bioflex MF versions since they have higher biocompatibility than MF equivalents

Notes. Shortnames: MF Monomer Free, MB Monomer Based, ULWA Ultra Low Water Absorption
Contact us to consult about our existing and customised 100% biocompatible 3Dresyns and your specific performance goals at: info@3Dresyns.com
Note: this range of biocompatible 3Dresyns are safe, non toxic. They have been designed to provide the safest handling to printers and final users. There are two type of materials: standard ones with certain minor hydrophilicity (not water soluble!), and our new ULWA, Ultra Low Water Absorption versions, which have very low water absorption: <15 µg/mm3.
